Each stage at South Manchester Studios is supported by dedicated out
rooms and facilities, within a self-contained, purpose built complex.
Dressing Rooms
Our dressing room corridor leads to 2 dressing rooms seating
12. Each are fitted with showers and bathroom facilities, mirror
lighting, ironing and steaming facilities, and television/dvd
and video link to the studios when required. Should you have
a special guest arriving for your shoot, the dressing rooms
can be designated, and the studios can arrange for a welcome
package of flowers and chocolates etc as you require.
Green Room
The green room area is supplied with a fresh coffee/tea machine,
cold drinks, television/ dvd/ video link, and broadband/wireless
connection. Both areas are situated between the dining
room and the studio, and are suitable for crew and cast to relax
before they are needed on set, and are large enough to use as a
holding area for supporting artists, or for an informal meeting
only two metres from the main stage and very close to the
dressing rooms.
Dining Room
Our dining room seats over 50 people at any one time, and is
situated at the front of the building making it the perfect
area for an informal meeting, or a holding area for crowds of
extras during the day. In addition to any catering package you
may have booked, you can help yourself to fresh coffee and tea,
or order an additional snack at any time during the day in a
vibrant relaxing atmosphere.
Production Offices
The studios are supported by production offices seating up to
ten people at any time. We can supply you with a boardroom/meeting
room, a screening/presentation area, as well as telephone lines
as appropriate, and supply fax and photocopy facilities.
Scene Dock
The scene dock is ideally situated between both studios, and
can accommodate a large amount of temporary set storage without
impeding vehicle access into the studios, making pick-ups and
delivery easy and carefree even when the studio is in use. This
area is also regularly used for off stage construction and preparation,
and is supplied with single or three phase power as required.
Free Parking
The studio complex is supported by up to 60 free parking spaces,
each within twenty metres of the building entrance. Please drive
carefully in our car park, and drivers leaving valuables in
their vehicles do so at their own risk.
